Maiden In The Water Cyanotype Print

This original Cyanotype print was created using hand-coated, light sensitive paper and Maidenhair fern from my garden. Charged by the sun here in Hawai'i the botanicals come to life in the beautiful cyanotype classic Prussian Blue. In Roman Mythology the Maidenhair fern was said to represent the hair of Venus as she arose from the foam of the sea.

Developed on 5x7 Inch Water Color Paper. This print will not be reproduced, making it one-of-a-kind.
