Garden Mandala- Original Cyanotype Print

This original Cyanotype print was created using hand-coated, light sensitive paper, Vinca flowers, and Maidenhair fern from my garden. Charged by the sun here in Hawai'i the botanicals come to life in the beautiful cyanotype classic Prussian Blue. In Roman Mythology the Maidenhair fern was said to represent the hair of Venus as she arose from the foam of the sea while the Vinca is associated with Venus, the Greek goddess, of love and beauty.

Developed on 4x6 inch watercolor paper. This print will not be reproduced, making it one-of-a-kind.
